Life is a causal system

The reality that happens around and the arrow of time are like a mathematical function, but life only reveals the function-curve for values (t < t_current). Such a system is called a "Causal System."

And so, we can't really be sure if the function maxima we are just experiencing is a local maxima,

a fairly-global one,

or an absolutely global max. (that we are never gonna see this level of peace again in life)
